Music and Other Arts:

We currently have five formal music ensembles which enhance our worship experience at Aldersgate.  In addition we have numerous vocalists and instrumentalists who share their talents as soloists or in small groups, particularly during our 8:30 service.

Visual artists regularly use their skills to enhance our worship space while also working to improve the dιcor in other parts of our church building.  We also have dancers and actors who occasionally help to interpret scriptural themes during worship.  Children and Youth as well as adults are active in music and the other worship arts.

Worship Arts

Worship Arts
Tuesdays, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Children, ages 4 through 6th grade are invited to join us as we learn different art techniques, have fun acting out different dramas, and enjoying music through singing, playing instruments and learning hand motions to songs.  We serve a small snack from 4:00 – 4:10 p.m. each week.  We divide the children into 2 different age groups: ages 4 – 1st grade and 2nd – 5th grade. All children are welcome to participate; you do not have to be a member of the church.  Cheryl Ortolf will also pick your child up after school at the South Row School.  Please talk to her ahead of time so you can make the proper arrangements with the school.
