Aldersgate United Methodist Church
Women's Ministry Mission Statement

As the women of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, we are committed to grow in relationship with Christ and each other by nurturing and equipping women through mentoring, fellowship, bible study and prayer...

To grow and be nourished by the Word
To discover and use our gifts

To reach out to church and community
To share the Gospel message

Welcome to all our sisters in Christ.  As “Daughters of Abraham”, the ladies of Aldersgate UMC look forward to engaging you with opportunities for fellowship and bible study.

Our Calendar of Events for 2011 will include the following  (See the Calendar of Events for 2011)

Lenten Luncheon – Fellowship opportunity with spiritual connections.  This is held at a local restaurant.  There is no charge for this, but you will be paying for your own lunch.

Fall Bible Study -  Seven weeks (topic to be determined) October – November

Spaghetti for the Soul!  4 fellowship dinners using the resources from the book of the same name..  What better way to fellowship than to break bread?  This will include a short program with the dinner.

Secret Sisters – a program (as Secret Pal, Secret Friend) where sisters will share their love and care for each other by pairing off for the year.  During the year each sister will encourage and maintain contact with their partner via mail, small gifts etc.  This particular event is for church members only (because of the logistics)

All of our programs are open to the public (except for the Secret Sister) and the community is invited to call the church to ask for details.
